Harbor buildings upgrade program

The next phase of the Harbor buildings upgrade program is now under way and work has begun to erect fencing around the buildings which will be upgraded.

It will be business as usual in the Discovery Square and Harbor areas during the building work – all our existing restaurants and shops (and the new ones) will be operating normal hours.

Parking and access

The easiest way to access the restaurants on the seafront (Ronin, Healthy Choice and Il Villagio) and in Harbor Square (Bonjourain, Mefalfal, Los Amigos and Saadeddin) is to park in the car park at the housing end of Harbor Walk, and walk over the wooden bridge and along the seafront. We also plan to introduce a “park and ride” service to move people from the car parks to the Harbor Walk area.

There will be an “open house” during the month of August, so you can find out more about the ongoing upgrade work. Details of the open house will be posted on The Lens in the next few weeks.

REMINDER – Note that only service vehicles are permitted to drive/park in the student housing area between Discovery Square and Harbor Walk.
