Government Affairs informs you that the Ministry of Hajj will open Hajj registration on Thursday, August 4 at 8:00 a.m. Applicants may register and submit their payments on theMinistry of Hajj portal.
Government Affairs recommends three options to sign up for on the Ministry of Hajj’s portal. These Hajj options will have buses coming to KAUST to pick up pilgrims. The service will be provided based on the number of applicants registered.
Recommendations:
After you have chosen your campaign and submitted your payment on the Ministry of Hajj portal, please visit the Government Affairs Center with the campaign selection and paperwork in order to complete your request.
Please complete the following before Hajj:
- Get your immunizations: Before performing Hajj, you must have an immunization vaccine (as required by the Ministry of Health). Immunizations are available at the KAUST Medical Center (KMC).
- KAUST clearance: Pilgrims under KAUST sponsorship must fill out the Hajj request form on the ABSHER portal and print it. Find the form here.
- Gather Hajj permit documents: To get Hajj permission, you will need to bring the following to the Government Affairs Center any time between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday. Our office is located on the Spine outside of the Al-Jazri building (building 4). (This only applies to the recommended campaigns.)
- Copy of passport
- Copy of iqama/national ID
- Three passport photos
- Immunization records
- Blood type
- Application request form (step 2 above)
For all other campaigns not mentioned above, you will be responsible for following step 3 above and delivering the requirements to the agent directly.
Please note:
If you have performed Hajj within the last five years, you will not be able to do it this year. Visitor visas are not allowed to perform Hajj. Children are not allowed to perform Hajj.
