The KAUST Animal Resources Core Lab presents:
Cutting-Edge Imaging Solutions for Preclinical Research
Tuesday, October 10, 2023
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Building 4, Level 5, 5209
The KAUST Animal Resources Core Lab, in collaboration with Gulf Scientific and Revvity, is delighted to extend an invitation to a short symposium focused on the latest advancements for in vivo imaging solutions in preclinical research applications. Join us for an informative session where esteemed speakers will showcase the remarkable capabilities of Revvity’s Vega Ultrasound and Quantum GX3 Micro CT imaging systems.
The Vega solution represents a groundbreaking breakthrough in preclinical ultrasound imaging. This hands-free, automated and high-throughput imaging system empowers researchers to delve into the intricacies of oncology, cardiology, liver and kidney diseases, and more. By offering high-resolution 2D and 3D images, the Vega Ultrasound system enables the visualization of vital parameters such as tumor volume, microvasculature, drug cardiotoxicity, and tissue stiffness.
The Quantum GX3 Micro CT enables imaging of a vast range of specimens, from less dense soft tissue to highly dense objects. Researchers can seamlessly integrate CT data with other modalities, including IVIS 3D optical data, to unlock new insights. With the highest spatial resolution available in the market today and a wide range of field of views, the Quantum GX3 system empowers researchers to explore the hidden dimensions of their specimens.
All scientists and university students, along with veterinarians and animal caretakers, in the Kingdom are welcome to attend.
Registration is required but is free. Register here by Thursday, October 5, 2023.
