
Huge congratulations to KAUST Assistant Professor Dana Alsulaiman for being recognized by The Young Arab Pioneers Initiative Arab Youth Center under the category “Medicine and Health Sciences.”
Her pioneering work focuses on developing advanced materials and next-generation biosensing platforms for cancer diagnostics and monitoring, and personalized therapy.
The Young Arab Pioneers Initiative, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Arab Youth Center, aims to highlight accomplished young individuals who present a high caliber of capabilities among Arab youth. The Initiative celebrates these Arab pioneers as young role models for their peers to inspire upcoming generations.
She says: “I would like to dedicate this award to my country, Saudi Arabia, which has supported me in my pursuits in research and innovation, and also to every ambitious young scientist or engineer striving to create a positive impact on society through STEM.”
