Adult volunteers are needed to be leaders of the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. See below for more information:
Cub Scouts
KAUST Cub Scouts is part of the British Scouting Overseas Association and is for girls and boys in grade 3 to grade 5 (aged 8 – 11 years old). The cub pack in KAUST has been here for the last 9 years, which has been very successful. We want to start again in mid-September, and we are looking for leaders.
Even if you don’t have kids in Grades 3 – 5 but are interested in becoming a cub scout leader, and even if you have never done it before, please email: crnewns@gmail.com
Girl Scouts
Girl Scouting is for every girl aged 5 to 9 years old. The girls join the scouts for fun and friendship, but they also find out about building character and self-esteem and serving their communities – the core qualities of Girl Scouting. KAUST Girl Scout Troops consist of one or more female adult volunteer leaders and minor girls/young women.
