KAUST Research Conference: Predictive Complex Computational Fluid
Dynamics will focus on cutting-edge research in the field of algorithmic development for CFD and multi-scale complex flow simulations. Fluid motion is governed by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations that can lead to dynamics over a vast range of scales. Although CFD is arguably the oldest area of computational science, it remains perhaps one of the most challenging and most active. Around the world, many research centers and labs, in the private sector, government, and academia are focused on developing and applying CFD algorithms. CFD is widely used to supplement experiment and to interpolate between experimental scenarios. Due to the growing numbers of problems where experiments are impossible, dangerous, and/or too costly, CFD is increasingly applied to scenarios where it must be a predictive tool in its own right. This predictiveness requires a precision that is made possible by both algorithmic and hardware advances.
The workshop will gather together young and senior, local and international top scientists from academia and industry in the multidisciplinary field of CFD to present and discuss their work. The poster session provides the opportunity for individuals to present their research and offers an excellent venue for extended informal discussion with conference attendees.

All contributors are requested to register for the conference through the registration page.
Posters authors are requested send their abstract (limited to 200 words and
should summarize the studies done for the poster) to: PCCFD.Conference@kaust.edu.sa

Notification of selected posters.
Sunday, May 8
Submission the accepted printing poster to conference organizing committee.

11:30 a.m.: Authors are expected to present by their
posters during the poster session
2:00 p.m.: Winning poster announcement
The event is open to the KAUST community.
The Conference is organized with financial support from the KAUST Office of
