Call for musicians and singers

Campus & Community (C&C) warmly invites all KAUST community members to join one (or all) of the three music groups from Office of the Arts: the Orchestra, the Chorus and the Angklung Ensemble.

Get ready to showcase your musical talent before an enthusiastic audience in our state-of-the-art auditorium and other exciting venues within KAUST and beyond.

Rehearsals will start soon!

When: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays evenings.

Learn more about the ensembles:

The Orchestra

Do you have an instrument gathering dust in the corner? Our orchestra is looking for people with previous experience playing a musical instrument. It’s the perfect opportunity to get back into the swing of things and share your talents with others.

The Chorus

If you love to sing, join our chorus! We welcome anyone with some music-reading knowledge who simply wants to enjoy the fun of singing together. It’s all about the joy of making music as a group.

The Angklung Ensemble

Discover the unique sound of the Angklung, a traditional Indonesian bamboo instrument. Each member shakes their own bamboo tube to produce a single note, and by working together, the sounds create beautiful harmonies. No musical experience is needed—just a love for teamwork and a desire to create a meaningful musical experience.

About the Office of the Arts

The Office of the Arts team at Campus and Community (C&C) promotes art, science and culture in KAUST, the Kingdom, and in the wider global context.

If you have any questions, please contact officeofthearts@kaust.edu.sa.

Register today and experience an unforgettable season of music!

I’ll be thinking about these points for a while.
