Have you come to Saudi Arabia thinking “… what a great chance to learn a new culture and a new language…”, only to find that you have been here for some time and that has not happened.
Well, enough excuses! Make a resolution for the New Year to learn Arabic.
The KAUST Community Arabic Program uses the Growing Participator Approach (GPA) to help you with learning to listen, understand, and speak the colloquial Arabic of the Hijaz region. It is a play-based program, so it is lots of fun for kids and adults.
The classes take place twice per week for 1.5 hours per session. The price for an eight-week session (16 classes) is SAR 900.
The sessions run quarterly and our Winter quarter starts on January 21 and ends on March 15.
- 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Ladies-only classes)
- 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (Children and adult classes)
- 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. (Mixed classes)
Online registration for the winter quarter opens on December 3 at 6:30 p.m.
