Apply for VentureLab 2012

Do you have a great business idea?

VentureLab is the Entrepreneurship Center’s nine-week program that empowers and educates students to turn research projects and ideas into tangible prototypes. You will develop an entrepreneurial mindset and culture through hands-on team activities, obtain a unique startup experience, and create a product to benefit KAUST, its community, and possibly the Kingdom.

The VentureLab Program: fast, furious, hands-on, and result-driven!

The VentureLab lecture week is September 15–19, 2012. Dr. Steven Gold, Babson College’s Director of the Summer Venture Program and successful serial entrepreneur, will teach “Action-Oriented Entrepreneurship” with focus on specific knowledge domains and a holistic approach to successful entrepreneurship.

Starting on September 23, 2012, the student teams will meet on eight consecutive Sunday evenings. The Entrepreneurship Center team will help you develop your ideas into tangible prototypes, test them with customers, and prepare you for seed and venture funding.

The VentureLab Award

The best teams may be eligible for special awards in order to take their startup project to the next level.
