Launch of Curfew Pass

In light of the current curfew, and to assist with the controlled flow of community members making essential trips out of the home during curfew, the Security Department announces the launch of the Curfew Pass, which is linked to your Digital ID in the Visitor Management System (VMS). 

Community members may apply for an optional single use Curfew Pass, valid on a given day for two hours to go out during curfew to visit the following locations: 

• KAUST Health
• Tamimi Supermarket and Mini Market (Discovery Square)
• Dr. Saud Pharmacy
• Restaurants for pre-ordered food collection

Please note: If you need to visit more than one of the above-mentioned locations within the two-hour period and during the curfew hours, please state the location in which you ought to spend the most time in. If you need to leave your house again, please request another pass. The Curfew Pass request is accessible in the VMS by selecting the below:

• No pre-approval required
• Can be issued for dependent(s)
• Vehicle or motorcycle details are fetched automatically in the system
• Privacy is guaranteed: Only name, KAUST ID# and house number will be displayed upon verification
