AMPMC/KAUST Research Conference:
Recent Developments in Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials for Energy,
Environmental and Water Applications

The Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Center Research Conference will be held from Monday, February 23 through Wednesday and February 25, 2015.
Those interested in attending the conference need to register by Sunday, February 15.
Topics Include:
- Energy-Enhanced Output: 1) Natural gas separations- Acid gas removal, nitrogen removal, dehydration; 2) Petrochemical separations- olefin/paraffin separation; isomer separation; hydrogen recovery; 3) High-performance membranes and novel processes for more energy-efficient clean water production.
- Clean Environment: Carbon capture and separation (materials and processes).
- Novel Functional Materials: Porous materials for new technologies with potentially high impact – gas storage, separations, catalysis, controlled drug delivery, biomedical applications.
AMPMC Poster Competition
Register now for the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Center (AMPMC)/KAUST Research Conference poster competition. Each first place winner (per category) receives an I-Pad Mini.
The deadline to apply is February 1, 2015.
To register, simply complete the poster registration form and the conference registration form then email them to sherry.shilling@kaust.edu.sa
Participants can register in one of three categories
- Student
- Postdoc
- Research Scientist
The poster competition will be held:
Tuesday, February 24
5:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Al-Marsa Restaurant
Criteria:
- Participants are responsible for printing their posters
- Participants must include an abstract
- Posters are to be size A0
- Participants must collect their posters after the dinner
