Community Market on the Harbor Walk

Community Life invites you to attend the first of our bi-monthly Community Markets filled with high-end art, crafts, buskers, kid’s activities and more. It’s a perfect opportunity to buy gifts for your friends and family before the winter break.

Join us this Friday, bring your friends and family and enjoy your local community market.


Artisan fair and market

Artisans from the KAUST community and Jeddah will be showcasing and selling their hand-crafted wares such as jewelry, stationery, ornaments, hair accessories, crafts, piñatas, Kudan tea light candles, hand painted tea and coffee sets, decoupage art, rock art, decorative eggs and boutique style Saudi souvenirs.

Art gallery

Enjoy and purchase incredible art by our community members from hand-thrown pottery, and abstract resin art with live demonstrations to exquisite jewelry. There will also be a pop-up shop by a locally based French designer showcasing her hand-crafted boutique purses and accessories. Lastly, ARTmosphere has sourced the best of the best in art and design from Saudi artists in Jeddah.

Music

Several of our talented community musicians with be busking. Filling Harbor Walk with ambient sounds from The Ukes with James on the cagun drum box, Peter on the saxophone, African drummers, The Djemborees, and Clinton on guitar.

Kids

Lots to keep the kids busy including face painting, interactive art corner and two bouncy castles so you can sit by the harbor, watch the dragon-boaters, eat, relax and let the kids play.

Food

Enjoy takeaway shawarma and other market style food from Bonjourain’s outdoor stall and visit our Harbor Walk eateries for more delicious bites.

How to get there

Park in the Harbor Walk car park and stroll down to Harbor Walk or park in the Discovery Square car park and catch the shuttle bus to Harbor Walk.
