I am sorry but the restaurants at Harbor Walk lost me as a customer when you restricted scooter access to the area. I do not wish to walk for a half a mile in this heat, nor do I wish to take a shuttle bus. I would like to park my scooter in front of the Harbor library like I have done for the past 7 years without obstructing anyone or causing any any accidents.

On what grounds what that no-parking decision made? There never is any traffic at Harbor Walk!

Dear Linda,

Since the beginning this area was designated by KAUST as a pedestrians area, and the only vehicles allowed are the service vehicles with limited access time as the signs show at the location.

As for your concern, we are glad to inform you that you have other options to go by like using the newly established shuttle golf cart in front of KAUST Inn every 10 minutes which provides free transportation to the harbor area.

I hope this matter is now cleared and we addressed your concern; for further clarification please don’t hesitate to contact me on aref.bishbishi@kaust.edu.sa Phone:0542492506.

There are many small kids playing and running there. Either we will not take our kids to Harbor Walk or any vehicle will be prohibited.

I tried Harbour Walk Shuttle Service the day after Celebration and I was really disappointed. I went to Green Shop (fruit and vegetables) arround 2 p.m. The way back I waited for the bus half an hour but it didn’t come. I was stucked in a square with almost 15kg of groceries. In the middle of the day I decided to walk back all way to parking area near the Recycling Center (Bus Stop 1) where I was advised to leave the car. I was surprised that in my way I didn’t see the bus – neither at stops, nor on the road. If there is a break please let us know.
I understand that it is a new service, but please take care of its quality. Thank you!
