Abstract: The collaboration between KAUST and TUM started in 2009. TUM is the only German university taking part in this Special Academic Partnership Program. By now, both TUM and KAUST are actively performing research in four projects in the fields of chemistry, computer science and mathematics. In his lecture, Professor Herrmann will focus on the Technical University, its mission and its internationalization strategy, and provide an overview of the previous research activities of the KAUST-TUM projects and their achievements. Finally, Professor Herrmann will address potential future opportunities for the existing KAUST-TUM partnership.
