The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Impact Awards honor those who promote excellence and enhance health, safety, and environmental stewardship at KAUST.
Historically, the teams within HSE have awarded individual awards. This year we are combining all HSE awards together into one awards program, with an open nomination process to elevate safety culture and increase transparency to the community.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2022 HSE Impact Awards in two award categories:
President’s Awards:
- Distinguished Leadership in Safety Award
- Impact Award
Director’s Awards:
- Community Safety Award
- Innovation & Achievement Research Safety Award
- HSE Core Values Award
- Environmental Stewardship Award
- HSE MVP Award
- Total Worker Health Award
These awards will recognize and honor exceptional individuals for their efforts to promote HSE culture and are open to our entire KAUST community, including students, faculty, staff, residents and service providers.
Nominations and recipient selections
Nominations for the awards will be accepted through the HSE website until February 1, 2023. A committee will select the recipients of the 2022 HSE Impact Awards, which will be presented at an awards ceremony planned for March 2023.
