We are pleased to announce that the TKS GES library will be open to the KAUST community three times a week for partial days throughout the summer. This has been made possible through a collaboration between TKS and Community Life with support from the Provost’s office. We are so proud of our library collection and the beautiful setting it provides for our children, so we are happy for our wider community to benefit over the summer.
During this time, we are very fortunate to have Ms. Jak managing the library. She comes with several years of experience with the Harbor library and is familiar with the GES library space and systems.
Children who were enrolled at TKS for the 2021/22 school year already have an account in our library system, so they do not need to re-register. If your child does not attend TKS, please complete this form so that we can create a library account for them. After this has been done, your child will be able to check-out and return books during the times below.
The admission to the library follows the similar requirements that are in place for KAUST recreation facilities.
- Those 12 years of age and older need to present their KAUST ID
- Those under 12 years need to be supervised by a parent or guardian
- Personal visitors are welcomed. They must be signed in but they are unable to check out books.
Location and access
Due to summer construction projects at the school, you will need to access the GES library through the side gate and outside door, as shown in the images below. There will be signage in place at the GES entrance to direct visitors. Please note, due to building renovations, toilet facilities are available upon request.
