With rapidly changing social conditions in the Kingdom, KAUST is taking steps to open up our campus to welcome more visitors and provide an easier entry and exit, all without compromising security.
KAUST is making its gate access arrangements simpler and smoother. Some of the changes to the gates have already happened and others are underway. These changes are designed to make the experience smoother for people entering KAUST, and to remove some unused equipment. The security requirements to show a QR code or appropriate ID remain unchanged at the gate. These improvements will result in a “one stop” experience at the gate for the security check.
With these changes, KAUST’s community and visitors to KAUST will have a better experience with a smooth access process. Any changes regarding access to KAUST, and any conditions that apply to visits, will be fully communicated ahead of their introduction.
