Personal and Business Visitor Update
The Kingdom recently updated visitor guidelines to enter Saudi Arabia that removes any requirements for vaccination. While we strongly encourage all those eligible to be fully vaccinated with all boosters, both personal and business visitors are no longer required to be vaccinated when visiting KAUST. The Keeping KAUST Safe website and visitor request forms are currently being updated to reflect this and the new process will go into effect as soon as the visitor entry form is updated.
March 27 COVID-19 update
As of March 27, there were no new cases of COVID-19 confirmed at KAUST since the last bulletin on March 20.
The 14-day positivity rate* as at KAUST is currently NA as of March 27, 2022.
* Positivity rate = % of positive tests returned from the total number of tests taken during a 14-day period. Excludes where the result is still pending or the swab was rejected.
** This rate will only be displayed if the number of tests conducted achieves a given significant threshold (724 tests). Over the past 14-day period, 265 tests were conducted, with 9 positive cases.
