The TKS Internship Program (TKS IP) is one of the high school courses offered to our diploma students. Launched in August 2021, seventeen high school students joined and successfully completed their internship in January 2022.
Our students in the program have gained invaluable real-life work experiences from across many KAUST Departments, which will stay with them and prepare them in their chosen fields and careers ahead.
We are proud to celebrate their achievements and recognize the vast talent pool of resources we have here at KAUST and the unique learning opportunities we can offer our students through our University connections.
Watch this video (created by Samuel Paterson, G11 Student) and hear directly from our interns talking about their work experience projects ranging from designing drones to developing augmented reality apps to leading their very own gymnastics class. The experiences have been so enriching that some of our students chose to stay on and continue into the second semester.
