Strategic National Advancement’s office of Young Talent Development (YTD) invites all KAUST Faculty and their teams to its 2021 Mentor Recognition and YTD Open House, hosted at the University Library on Tuesday, October 19 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
This event recognizes KAUST faculty who have dedicated their time, expertise, and energy as mentors for the 2021 Saudi Research Science Institute (SRSI) and KAUST Gifted Student Program (KGSP) internship programs. It also highlights the significant positive impact such engagement has on students, the University and the Kingdom.
Featuring posters of the impressive student research conducted at KAUST this summer and remarks from senior leadership, the Open House is also a fantastic way for the entire academic community to learn more about YTD programs and the many upcoming opportunities for involvement.

YTD cultivates the next generation of Saudi thought leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs by equipping them with the skills, values and drive to contribute to – and benefit from – the Kingdom’s historic transformation. Through flagship programs, developmental opportunities, education and advocacy, YTD is building knowledge infrastructure to improve the national landscape for scholarship, academics and innovation. From the early years to university level students, the Nation’s youth are empowered to make a difference in Saudi Arabia in ways in which only the KAUST experience can.
