6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Auditorium (building 20)

The Office of the Arts brings back its ensembles concert following the pandemic hiatus.

Do not miss the premiere of Sandstorm, an original song written by Louis Davidson, a Grade 12 student at The KAUST School, with orchestral arrangements by Eduardo Regula.

The program includes four other orchestral pieces by composers such as Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Antonín Dvořák, as well as a selection of music from the 2013 Disney film Frozen, which should delight our young (and young at-heart) audience.

The Angklung Ensemble will perform traditional Indonesian music and some well-known pop songs while musicians Katja Gorenflot and David Keyes will present a piano duet.

Due to Keep KAUST Safe Guidelines, the chorus is still absent at this time, however, soloists Natalia Garmashova, Elisa Garuglieri and Mariyam Mahmud will each grace the evening with their vocals.

Registrations are no longer required but seats are limited.

Children are welcome to attend with their parents. Should they become restless however, we ask that you please escort them away from earshot.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Please note this is a COVID safe event. With the health and safety of our participants and audiences in mind, we will enforce COVID-19 protocols and procedures, including physical distancing and face coverings.
