Mandatory vaccination compliance

COVID-19 vaccinations are now required for everyone in KAUST, and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully vaccinated with all doses by September 1, 2021.

If you were vaccinated outside of KAUST Health but have not registered with KAUST, please register immediately to avoid being non-compliant. The KAUST vaccine monitoring form is available online to submit vaccination records. Even if you have received all doses and are fully immune on Tawakkalna, you must still inform us using this form to be compliant.

Anyone who is aged 12 or older and is not registered with KAUST as fully vaccinated by September 1 will not be able to access work or recreational facilities. The MOH has now approved Moderna for 12-18 years age group.

There remain slots available for booking a COVID-19 vaccine at KAUST Health on the following dates:

  • August 23, 24, 30 – AZ
  • August 25, 26, 31 – Pfizer

Please make sure you book the correct date for the brand of vaccine you are required to take.  To book your appointment please follow this link.

Quarantine requirements for those under 18

Please be reminded that ALL unvaccinated children aged 17 and under returning out-of-Kingdom must quarantine for a period of seven days (the day of landing in Kingdom is day 0).  Any child aged seven and over will be required to have a PCR test on day six with a negative result before they are able to leave quarantine at 00:01 hours on day eight.

Children should remain in quarantine at home and will not be able to attend TKS or daycare until their quarantine period has ended.

Any parent or guardian found to not have followed this requirement is breaking Kingdom and KAUST policy and putting other people at risk.
