The Art Club is offering six weeks mosaic workshop – for adults.
Location
Art Studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC)
Schedule
When: Wednesdays, September 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & October 6
Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Cost
The total cost for all 6 classes will be 400 SAR, to be paid in cash on the first class, and includes the cost of ceramic tiles, wooden base, glue, grout and a wooden frame.
For Who?
Adults only (senior secondary school children can attend, but only by special arrangement by email).
Participants are required to follow the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines.
Clothes
You should wear clothes which are suitable for getting dirty – or bring your own apron.
Teacher
Nesegul Demir, (called Nessie), a KAUST resident from Turkey, will teach you how to make beautiful traditional mosaic pictures using broken pieces of coloured ceramic tiles. Nessie is a trained and experienced art teacher who specializes in mosaics, as well as acrylic and oil painting.

Good morning, I would like to take a bus to the mall during daytime, when there are fewer customers and it is much safer than during the evening trips. When school starts, some mothers would like to do their shopping in the mornings, when their husbands are at work and kids in school. Can I expect morning bus to the malls in early day hours in the near future? Thank you.
