KAUST community members and visitors are invited to experience the future of transportation innovation by using Saudi Arabia’s first autonomous shuttles. Our fully electric autonomous shuttles, Olli and EZ10, provide a more sustainable form of transportation to the KAUST community.
Take a ride!
Both shuttles currently operate on the Horseshoe Loop with stops outside Building 16, Building 14 and Building 18/Discovery Square. To take a ride, simply wait at the branded bus stop and enter when the doors open, then take a seat, put on your seat belt, and enjoy the ride.
Please note: these routes are subject to change.
Interacting with self-driving vehicles
- Autonomous Shuttles have sensors which monitor potential hazards. If you are riding a bike or driving a car, please give the shuttles enough space in the front and the rear, to ensure that the shuttle does not perceive your presence as a hazard.
- Our shuttles operated with a safety steward on board at all times. This person is able to take control of the shuttle if needed.
- Our shuttles are wheelchair and stroller friendly.
