Students for Sustainability have created a platform for raising scientific engagement on the complexity of sustainability by hosting a series of meetings called the ‘Sustainability Seminars.’

You are invited to the third webinar of the 2021 Sustainability Seminar Series on April 6 at 4:00 p.m., entitled “A Transformational Journey through a Plant-Based Diet & the Future of Food Tech” by HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud.

About the speaker

H.R.H. Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, KBW Ventures. A member of the Saudi Arabian royal family, Prince Khaled was born in California and spent his youth in Riyadh under the mentorship of his father, philanthropist H.R.H. Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, Chairman and founder of Kingdom Holding Company. Today, with holdings on three continents, Prince Khaled stands at the gateway between the Middle East’s evolving economies and the Western world. He invests in an array of successful, but diverse global businesses with an interest in transformative technologies. Consistently, his focus is on ventures and ideas at the intersection of innovation and economic stability. As a venture capitalist who advocates for and invests in food technology including alternative proteins and cellular agriculture, Prince Khaled is extremely engaged with the food technology and food sciences industry, promoting emerging technologies that serve as potential solutions to food security and sustainability concerns facing today’s global community.
