KAUST COVID-19 vaccination program
Thus far, KAUST Health have registered over 6,000 bookings, and more than 2,500 KAUST residents have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at KAUST Health.
All vaccination slots at KAUST Health are currrently filled.
We encourage KAUST residents who did not register for their COVID-19 vaccination to book an appointment in a nearby MoH facility for the free MoH COVID-19 vaccination through the Sehhaty app (Android / iOS) .
Did you get a COVID-19 vaccination outside of KAUST?
If you have already had one or two doses of any COVID-19 vaccine outside of KAUST (including internationally) and have not completed the vaccine monitoring form, you are required to to so as soon as possible by clicking here.
This is important to enable us to track vaccination levels within our community.
March 21 COVID-19 update
As of March 21 at 8:15 a.m., there were no new positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed at KAUST since the last bulletin (published on March 14, 2021).
- In total, there were 9 positive cases from MoH testing conducted on campus between March 7-11, previously reported as 6
- Seven of the cases were asymptomatic
- Two were previous positives
All positive cases remain in quarantine and contact tracing has been completed.

The 14-day positivity rate* at KAUST is 0.1% as of March 21, 2021.
We’d like to thank all community members for practicing physical distancing, the wearing of face coverings, hand washing and adherence to the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines.

* Positivity rate = % of positive tests returned from the total number of tests taken during a 14-day period. Excludes where the result is still pending or the swab was rejected.
