The Art Club is offering a new six-week mosaic workshop – for adults starting in March. Each class lasts two hours.
Location
Art Studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC).
Schedule
Wednesday – March 10, 24, 31 and April 7, 14, 21 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
(There will be no class on March 17 due to the TKS holiday.)
Cost
The total cost for all six classes will be 400 SAR to be paid in cash on the first class. This includes the cost of ceramic tiles, wooden base, glue, grout and a wooden frame.
For Who?
Adults only (senior secondary school children can attend but only by special arrangement by email).
Participants are required to follow the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines. Spots are on a ‘first come, first served basis.’
Clothes
You should wear clothes which are suitable for getting dirty – or bring your own apron. You must wear a mask at all times in the studio.
Teacher
Nesegul Demir (Nessie) is a Turkish national living in KAUST and is a qualified art teacher of elementary to high school children. She has done many workshops in KAUST for the Art Club, including, oil and acrylic painting and mosaic picture making.
