The Government of Saudi Arabia has introduced a series of new public safety measures in recent days in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The KC3 is studying the new measures and will assess whether we need to make changes to the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines.

In the meantime, community members are encouraged to remind themselves of the national guidelines and adhere to the Keeping KAUST Safe requirements and exercise their personal judgement when choosing to travel off-campus and to minimize doing so as much as possible.

Additionally, the Ministry of Health (MoH) now requires everyone to download and register on the Tawakkalna app (iOS / Android), which is the official MoH app for helping limit the spread of COVID-19.

The KC3 will continue to monitor announcements from the government and will continue to engage the community on further measures to help contain COVID-19, as required.
