The KAUST Prototyping Core Lab (PCL) is a space where makers, entrepreneurs, artists, inventors and students from the University community and Saudi Arabia can visit to make, break and be creative.

In PCL, you can get training and support from the team on how to use tools for creating, including woodworking tools, 3D printers, laser cutting machines, engravers, water jet cutting machines, milling machines and electronic components used for prototyping. Also available in the lab are software tools for design, modeling and simulation.

The PCL team additionally offers continuous support and technical expertise to startups from KAUST and the Kingdom as they grow their inventions and progress through the development process.

Visit PCL in this location to learn how to design and make “the next big thing”—come turn your creative ideas into reality. Whether your ideas involve art or scientific research, you can bring them to life at PCL.
