KAUST kicks-off today a ‘People’s Choice’ competition on social media between the top WEP #scicomm finalists. The voting deadline is Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. (GMT+3). The video with more likes will be the winner and will get an iPad! Stay tuned to find out more on KAUST Official’s social media channels. 

Winners of the WEP 2021 SciComm competition 

We are thrilled to announce that the first WEP 2021 #SciComm video competition winner is Khalil Moussi, Ph.D. Student at KAUST’s CEMSE division. The winner was chosen by WEP jury.

We challenged KAUST and in-Kingdom scientists to create a 90 seconds video or less explaining their research to a non-specialist audience. Thanks to the 46 participants who submitted a video! And CONGRATS to the winner, who has won an iPad 10.2, and the top five finalists chosen by our jury -who have won camera stabilizers!
