Government Affairs is pleased to announce multiple new features to the KAUST Digital ID on the KAUSTCentral App, the official mobile app of KAUST.

This new, innovative digital format allows you to display your affiliation to KAUST even in areas with limited or no internet coverage, such as at South Beach or during business travels.

Please keep in mind that your Digital ID will be available offline for 48 hours only, after which it will be disabled unless there is connectivity to the internet.

KAUST Gate Access

KAUSTCentral now provides three options for gate access as part of your Digital ID:

  • My QR Code (your personal code, which is available offline)
  • Family QR Code (a code for the KAUST primary that includes their family members and dependents, also available offline)
  • Group QR Code (similar to the current feature that allows you to add all passengers in a vehicle, and requires internet connectivity). This option also offers a history of previous QR codes used at the KAUST gate.

Additionally, more information is now available on your Profile concerning the status of your Government ID, driving license, and car insurance, as reflected in the GA/Security systems.

How to download KAUSTCentral

Download the KAUSTCentral App here or scan the QR code.
