Effective today, October 25, 2020, the University Library building is open 24/7. Access to the Library is limited to KAUST graduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff members from KAUST. All other KAUST community members, including TKS students, are not allowed to access the Library at this stage.

Visitors need to reserve their preferred seats or study rooms by providing their KAUST credentials and need to check in by scanning the QR code affixed to each seat and study rooms.

88 seats and 20 study rooms are available for quiet study

Group discussions, meetings and gatherings are not allowed. The study rooms are available to use between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays only.

Library café

The library café customers can walk-in for take away orders only. No seating or gathering is permitted.

Use the Library online collection

We gladly observe an increased usage of the library’s online collection (which represents 99% of the total collection), online training and other digital services during previous months and encourage everyone to continue to use them from the Library website.

Please wear a face mask at all times, keep physical distancing of 2 meters, maintain silence and strictly follow the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines.

Stay safe. Thank you for your cooperation.
