The Explore Saudi Arabia Fall program brings an opportunity for the KAUST community to discover the historical, natural, gastronomical and cultural treasures of Saudi Arabia. Our aim is to provide a safe and memorable experience for the KAUST community. The trips that will run for the fall break are:

Jeddah night trip

  • Monday, October 26 – Tuesday, October 27 (10 hours)

Jeddah Al Balad trip

  • Wednesday, October 28 – Wednesday, October 28 (10 hours)

Al-Baha trip (FULL)

  • Thursday, October 22 – Saturday, October 24 (2 nights)

Taif trip

  • Sunday, October 25 – Monday, October 26 (1 night)

Um Luj trip (FULL)

  • Tuesday, October 27 – Wednesday, October 28 (1 night)

Jeddah Dhahban trip (FULL)

  • Friday, October 30 – Friday, October 30 (10 hours)

To finalize registration, payments must be made in GA Center before the deadline stated in the itinerary for each trip.

Please note: To give our explorers peace of mind and good family fun, all trips are organized following the KAUST HSE safety protocols.
Community members are requested to follow the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines, in matters of strict physical distancing, face coverings and using hand sanitizer. All travelers will be required to take a COVID test before travelling. The costs quoted include the cost of the test.
