Participate in the Oil Recycling Program at KAUST!
Fats, Oils and Grease are extremely harmful for the environment when they are disposed incorrectly. When poured down the sink, they can cause blockage in drains, sewer systems and contribute to water pollution.
The best way to dispose of grease is to recycle it. You can recycle your oil in KAUST as follows:
Step 1: Ensure the left-over cooking oil is cool enough before pouring into your bottle.
Step 2: Town-house residents: Place the oil bottle outside your house next to the recycling bin for collection.
OR
Apartment residents: Place the bottle oil bottle outside your door and call 959 for collection.
Step 3: The waste management team will collect the oil and return your bottle for further collection!
