The Department of Government Affairs has worked closely with the Saudi government to automatically renew expired iqamas and exit/re-entry visas for KAUST community members, their family members and dependents who are currentlyout of the Kingdom.
We confirm that this service will be starting this week and is free of charge and does not require action by individuals. The following has been arranged:
- Three-month extension of expired iqamas
- Three-month extension of expired exit/re-entry visas
Please note: The extension is only available for iqamas and exit/re-entry visas that have expired between March 6, 2020 and July 31, 2020.
Please check your Absher account (MOI website) from Thursday, July 23 onwards to ensure this change has been reflected for you, your family members and dependents. In case the extension has not been recorded to your Absher account, please contact ga@kaust.edu.sa.
