Following yesterday’s announcement regarding KAUST charter flights from Dubai, we are delighted by the community’s response. Over 410 people have already registered. There is still time to do so if you would like to travel back to Kingdom in August.

Based on feedback from travelers and concerns about transit visas within Dubai, we are pleased to confirm that the departure airport has been changed to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and not Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).

To register for one of the KAUST charter flights, please complete the relevant form by clicking on the links below:

Travelers are responsible for their own travel arrangements to Dubai. Flight departure times are still to be confirmed. The ticket price for the charter flight is estimated to be in the region of $500 – $600 USD. Costs will be deducted directly from salary or stipend.

Please complete the online form no later than 12:00 midday on Tuesday, July 21. After this date, passengers cannot be added to any of these flights, as we need to obtain government approval for each passenger.

Registering for a charter flight is a commitment to pay.

For any immediate questions, please contact the COVID-19 Operations Hub or call 012 808 0950 Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If your question relates to remote working arrangements, we encourage employees to speak with their line manager in the first instance. You may also email questions to the HRHelpdesk@kaust.edu.sa.
