IT have been providing free IPTV television services to community members to encourage the use of home entertainment options during this time. We are happy to announce further free enhancements to the IPTV services, including:
- A new IPTV app version with easy to navigate interface
- Ten new channels through the “Free to Air” package, available for a limited time and only through the new app:
- Fatafeat
- Fox HD
- Cbeebies
- MBC+
- Dreamworks
- TCM HD
- CCTV 4
- CGTN Documentary
- Toyor Al Jannah
- Libiya Sport
- Channel listing is categorized based on program type (Drama, Movie, etc.)
- Ability to sort and arrange the channels
- Ability to view upcoming programs and their timings on some channels

To get access to these new functions, you must download and install the app on any supported android TV box or Smart Android TVs. Your Smart TV or TV box should be running Android 5 (Lolipop) or later. Here’s how:
- If you have the KAUST issued white set top box:
Download and install from the Selevision store available on all set top boxes acquired through the IPTV store. The full guide can be found on the IT Website.
- If you have your own personal Android Set Top Box or an Android SMART TV: Download and install it from the Google Play Store on your android TV device by searching for K-IPTV. The Icon looks like this:
This option is not yet available on phones and tablets.
All KAUST Set Top Boxes should be pre-registered and will not ask you for Log-in credentials. If the application prompts you for credentials to log in please contact the IPTV Team.
