New curfew arrangements in Jeddah

New curfew timing and other restrictions in Jeddah come into force today. The KC3 is monitoring the situation.

We are maintaining our current status at KAUST. Please continue to follow the Keep KAUST Safe guidelines, these will help to reduce the transmission of the virus and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in KAUST.

Leaving and returning to campus

Anyone planning to leave KAUST must inform the CoronavirusTaskforce@kaust.edu.sa before leaving. Unless you are leaving for a medical reason or emergency, we strongly recommend that residents do not leave KAUST at this time.

Those wanting to return to KAUST must contact coronavirustaskforce@kaust.edu.sa at least 7 days before they propose to return. Due to our capacity to support people in quarantine, it is not guaranteed that permission to return will be given.

Do not travel to KAUST without permission to return. Quarantine is currently a minimum of 14 days for all residents entering KAUST.

Don’t forget your face coverings at home

Get in the habit of carrying your face coverings at all times, as it is mandatory to enter Tamimi, Starbucks and other retailers.

Tip: Put it in your backpack, or in the glove box of your car, or simply wear it before you leave your house.  Face coverings help minimize the spread of COVID-19 combined with other preventive measures.

Find out more about using face coverings properly, the types of coverings available and how and when you should use one here.

Once again, we’d like to thank you for your cooperation and ongoing adherence to directives. These have been designed to keep you safe and to help manage the crisis.
