KAUST cases

The total number of cases of COVID-19 identified at KAUST remains at 14. All of the positive cases have been discharged upon completion of the MOH testing requirements. We are keeping in touch with all of our cases and monitoring their progress. We wish each of these community members well.

Shipments and online orders

We would like to inform community members awaiting a delivery from an online seller, that once the parcel has been received by KAUST UPS at Gate 1 and updated as such in the tracking of your order, it may take up to 72 hours before it reaches you. Please be patient.

Please contact kaust.mailroom@dhl.com for queries regarding deliveries exceeding this period.

Should I systematically clean frequently touched surfaces to avoid contamination?
An article from the New England Journal of Medicine shows that SARS-CoV-2 can remain stable on surfaces for up to 72 hours. To help reduce the chance of exposure, community members can practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces with household cleaners and disinfectants that are appropriate for the surface, following label instructions.
