KAUST cases

The total number of cases of COVID-19 identified at KAUST remains at 14. All of the positive cases have been discharged upon completion of the MOH testing requirements. We are keeping in touch with all of our cases and monitoring their progress. We wish each of these community members well.

Banking services

To meet community banking needs during Ramadan, Samba Bank and SABB Bank will bring minimal staff to campus each day to operate according to the schedule below:
Samba Bank: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
SABB Bank: On Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The schedules are subject to change. We will keep you informed of any changes.

It is important to abide to the social distancing directives and to wear a face covering at all times upon visiting both branches. Community members are also encouraged to wear disposable gloves and use hand sanitizer to touch number pads or keyboards while at the bank.

We strongly recommend that the community continues to use online banking services.

Did you know KAUST has various research projects underway related to Covid-19?
Following a call by President Tony Chan for KAUST PIs to contribute through their research capabilities to alleviate the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of faculty was mobilized to form the Rapid Research Response Team (R3T).

The focus of R3T is to collaborate with and strongly support the Kingdom’s healthcare stakeholders to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

Read more about R3T’s research projects here. here.
