Sharing is a powerful way to connect. Learning from others and engaging in intellectual conversations is an enriching way to open your mind to new thoughts. For this reason–and as part of the Enrichment Office’s mission to enrich our students and the KAUST community—we want to know your ideas for panel discussions and movie discussions for WEP 2021 “Connectivity.”
Last year, scientists and speakers introduced and led discussions based on, for example, topics of movies screened as part of the WEP film festival. Have a look at the video below for an example of a panel discussion on Digital Health, which took place during the last edition of WEP.
Do you know an outstanding moderator? Do you have an exciting topic for a panel discussion in mind? What about a film or documentary presenter who could generate a stimulating conversation with the audience? Share your ideas with the Enrichment Office or submit a proposal no later than Sunday, April 26, 2020, at 12:00 p.m.
The topics of future discussions are not necessarily limited to science and technology. Over the last 10 years of WEP, panel discussions on art, time or creativity were also part of the program.
