The ADULT and KIDs Triathlon has been cancelled due to bad weather conditions
The 2020 KAUST Triathlon will take place on March 13 and 14, 2020.
Adult Triathlon:
Friday, March 13, 2020
9:00 a.m.
Harbor Beach (the small pebble beach across the wooden bridge from Harbor Walk)
Test your endurance with a 400 meter open-water swim in the harbor, a 20 km bike ride to the King Abdullah Monument and back, and a 5 km run finishing at the Harbor Sports Club track.
Kids Triathlon: ages 16 and under

8:00 a.m.
Island Recreation Center
The Kids Triathlon will be held on the Island.
7 – 11 years – 4 lap swim in the IRC pool, a 5 km bike ride on the Island and a 1 km run finishing in the IRC parking area.
12 – 16 years – 8 lap swim in the IRC pool, a 10 km bike ride on the Island and a 2 km run finishing in the IRC parking area.
Compete as an individual from start to finish, or team-up with your friends for a relay-style experience.

Can people from outside KAUST participate in the Trialthon? If yes, how?

Thank you for your interest in the Triathlon. The deadline for registration was yesterday. We have to close registration to allow enough time for our preparations this weekend.
There are a lot of logistics that goes into preparing for the event and the team needs an appropriate amount of time to setup each participant in the system and prepare for our expected participants.
