Join us for a panel discussion accompanying the closing reception of Iman Al-Dabbagh solo exhibition: Framing Saudi.

For a decade now, Saudi photojournalist, Iman Al-Dabbagh has been addressing the continuous evolution of her society, exploring the influences of globalization and documenting nostalgic images alike. Her work revels in candid shots, gaining access to private places and unguarded moments, capturing ordinary life, from social norms to identity and love.

Al-Dabbagh is joined by some of her muses, some of the most significant creatives in the region in their own rights to discuss, amongst other themes, her on-going documentary body of work “3eib Project” (or Taboo Project). “3eib Project” follows underground artists throughout the years and the challenges they have overcome.

Confirmed panelists include artist Iman Al-Dabbagh, and fashion designer Nasiba Hafiz.

The discussion is moderated by Solkem N’Gangbet, Head Office of the Arts and Senior Curator.
