The Information Technology Department is excited to announce another round of courses provided to the Community. Please note: a KAUST user account is required in order to login to the system.

Courses offered are 2-hour long and open only to the first twenty-five registered persons as spaces are limited in the classrooms; invitations will be sent at least one week prior to the course with room details and times or once all seats are booked by attendees.

SharePoint 2013/2016: Introduction

This course teaches you how to perform general tasks in SharePoint 2013/2016 for administrating a SharePoint site and will also cover Security & Permissions and Content Management.

Course duration: 2 hours (55-minute class, 5 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)

Office 365: Introduction

This course covers the basics of Office 365, the Microsoft Office Suite that gives users access to the Office cloud environment. It allows users to work remotely on any device and includes many different applications and features.

Course duration: 2 hours (55-minute class, 5 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)

Office 365: Teams & Planner

This course covers goes into more detail on Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Teams, as well as various use-cases that apply to KAUST.

Course duration: 2 hours (55-minute class, 5 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A).

FormStack: Introduction

This course covers the basics of FormStack; an online platform that helps users collaborate with teams, streamline internal processes, and collect and manage data.

Course duration: 2 hours (55-minute class, 5 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)

FormStack: Logic, Workflows, & Approvals

This course covers how to apply logic to questions and sections; it also dives into how to work with Approvals. Additionally, the course covers how to use Workflows for multi-step forms that require additional or more complex approvals.

Course duration: 2 hours (55-minute class, 5 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)

Sitefinity: Introduction

Sitefinity is a modern web content management system (CMS) that you use to create, store, manage, and present content on your website. Sitefinity is being rolled out for public or Internet facing websites; not for internal/collaboration team sites.

Course duration: 2 hours (55-minute class, 5 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)
