Over the summer, KAUST Solar Center (KSC) will host the KSC Summer School and Internship Program, which aim to provide a broad understanding of fundamental and applied photovoltaics to young scientists and engineers in the field.

From July 1 to 4, KAUST students and postdoctoral fellows are invited to register to attend the KSC Summer School Lecture Series. Lectures will be held daily from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Al Kindi Building (bldg. 5), room 5220.

Again this year, we are delighted to have Professor Miro Zeman and Professor Olindo Isabella from TU Delft, who will open the summer school with talks on:

  • PV fundamentals, design and measurements
  • PV systems
  • Advanced BIPV
  • Smart grids and power electronics

These lectures will be complemented by talks addressing silicon and perovskite solar cells as well as organic PVs by KSC’s Prof. Frederic Laquai, Prof. Stefaan De Wolf, Dr. Thomas Allen, Dr. Michele De Bastiani, Dr. Yuliar Firdaus and Dr. Nicola Gasparini.

Further details (including the agenda and registration link) can be found here.

KAUST students and postdocs interested in attending these morning lectures are advised to register early, as places are limited. A confirmation email will be sent to registered participants.
