There has been a great response from the community to the new pet registration campaign with over 100 pet owners already completed the registration process.

The medical check and micro-chipping part of the registration for cats and dogs will continue to be free until October 31, 2018. The annual registration fee of SAR150 will also be waived during this period.

  1. I don’t understand why the registration fee is annual. We don’t register each year to KAUST Health. Why should our pets? Once registered, they are registered. According to me, owners should register new pets to play according the the new regulation. This is a bit ridiculous. I believe the registration fee and the high prices the vet charges will be enough money raised to cover for the expenses and to provide better vet services to the community.
