Getting ready for the KAUST BIKE WEEK?
Remember to take part in the Bike to Work, Bike to School and Bike to Play initiative (click here for more details) and enjoy other activities throughout the week:
- Banaweer bike rental station outside the Harbor Sports Club – bicycles with helmets and lights available for rent from 11 February. Visit HSC Reception for more details.
- Join the spin bike marathon in the Campus Diner, IRC and HSC receptions! Let’s burn those calories!
- Download the STRAVA App and track your mileage throughout the week using the February Cycling Distance Challenge! Let’s see how many miles KAUST can clock up… and reduce our carbon emissions at the same time!
- Go for a ride with the Red Sea Cyclists!
- Sunday 11 Feb 6:00 am – 7:00 am – road bike, starting from the Gas station (Adults only)
- Wednesday 14 Feb 5:15 am – 6:15 am – road bike, starting from Tamimi parking (Adults only) 5:40 pm – 6:40 pm – mountain bike, starting from HSC
- Bike Safety Blitz at TKS – check if your bicycle is in good shape! – Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 7:15 am – 7:45am in front of the TKS secondary school.
Need some bike maintenance? Visit Banaweer shop (located behind the gas station) on 10 February from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm for a FREE bicycle maintenance check.
