Members of the KAUST community are cordially invited to attend a lunchtime lecture and an evening concert given by visiting performers, Nathan Medley, countertenor, and Scott Ewing, pianist.

Monday, October 2, from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m., University Library:
During this lunchtime lecture and performance, Nathan will demonstrate the unique qualities of the countertenor production of the high falsetto notes. In addition, both musicians will discuss how their songs fit within Shakespeare’s plays and how various composers have interpreted them. Refreshments will be served.
Tuesday October 3, from 7:30 – 8:45 p.m., Auditorium, Building 20:
“Shakespeare through the Ages” will offer a fascinating vocal journey through William Shakespeare’s ballads and sonnets written for his theatrical works.

School-age children aged six and over are encouraged to attend this concert with their parents. Parents with younger children are welcome to be seated with your children in the Family Seating section in the lobby of Building 20 where the concert will be live streamed on the LED screens.
