Awards for Excellence Nominations: Top Tips
Do you know someone whose contribution is above and beyond what is required of their role? Do you know someone who delivers consistently excellent service? Do you know someone who works tirelessly in their voluntary service to the KAUST community?
Please consider the tips below before you nominate to ensure your nomination stands out:
- Take ten minutes to read through the Awards for Excellence Guidance Booklet
- Decide who you want to nominate and in which category
- Use as many examples as possible to show how your nominee’s contribution is significant and deserving of recognition
- Don’t just describe their contribution – be clear on the impact and results of their contribution
- If possible, show how the individual behaves in ways that uphold one or more of the University values – achievement, passion, inspiration, diversity, openness, integrity and citizenship
