On Wednesday, May 2, five VentureLab teams will present their startup business cases during a final showcase open to the University community, where a panel of high-profile judges will score their presentations.

The panel includes:

  • Hala Fadel, Chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan-Arab and MIT Arab Business Plan competition
  • Barig Siraj, Saudi entrepreneur and venture capitalist
  • Khalid Suleimani, Saudi entrepreneur, public speaker, and writer
  • David Keyes, KAUST Dean, Mathematical and Computer Sciences and Engineering Divisions
  • Mohamed Samaha, KAUST Senior Vice President, Economic and Technology Development

VentureLab is an Entrepreneurship Center program that empowers its participants to validate research projects and ideas, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, obtain a unique startup experience, and create a product to benefit KAUST, its community, and possibly the Kingdom.
